Holy crap i fu*k*d up.
So while working on my project i decided to group a couple of meshes together, save and exit.
Turning my project on again and ungrouping has resultet in my mesh being a "edit mesh" and with smoothing saved over, no chance of going back to unsmoothed

Anybody here that can help me?

if there is not enough files to go through, set up more saves for next time
i have like 50
Then spin around 5 times and do the worm. If your file isn't fixed, wail some more.
I remember someone made a "UN-Turbosmooth" MaxScript that would try to revert mesh that had been collapsed, but I can't seem to find anything about it. I must have invented the myth when I was in a similar situation, ha!
