Hi all! I'm an aspiring concept/character artist and I've recently started working in Zbrush and the realm of digital sculpting. I'm really enjoying it so far but I don't want to get too comfortable. These are my first two head sculpts and I'd like to hear how people think they could be improved.
Female head
Male head
Edit: Adding reference photos. Sorry for the size.
With the female I was focusing more on the features than the overall face shape. Meaning there is intentional slimming of the face.

it is hard for us to tell you much more than 'work on anatomy' if we don't know what you're aiming for.
I can recommend you to follow along and have a look through this tread: http://polycount.com/discussion/189005/30-heads-in-30-days/p1
The challenge looks cool! I've been thinking about doing a personal challenge like that to try and improve. I really like the organic flow to the work and want to dive in.
Currently your sculpts lack solid structure , but that can be easily fixed
My suggestions is to check this link and follow advices given there :

I would say that you are working in too high poly first of all.
I assume that the references you are working from are people you know well... Don't do this until you are comfortable with the modelling in general.
I would say to do that challenge that I posted in my post above, and to actually post in the thread. There's people that will comment on it, you will get a feel for how to start the models, and then we can go from there
