Hi @EVF, I really like your concept! I think you can push it further with adjustments. If you slide the saturation up you can notice much more of the beautiful tones you used. You can also experiment with levels and contrast, colour-balance etc. and see if there's any more beauty you can bring up, since these are quick and easy changes.
The colors and forms in your image give it, to me, a spooky dreamlike feeling. Based on the title though, I imagine a peaceful early morning, beautiful light, quiet streets. Is it meant to be spooky or peaceful?
@Joopson and @lotet, You guys are indeed very right! I'm gonna have to change the title or punch in some saturation like @RN suggested. Thank you guys for the feedback!
Hello! Heres a lil tip if you wanna make it look more livelier, Use the Colour Dodge on the brush (if you are using photoshop) or on the layers panel and go over again with a yellow colour on top of the windows with the lights and maybe the sky? I've also noticed the noise was too high, maybe reduce it?. ^^
@Daruxial hey thanks, I get shy with my brightness and saturation, because I've over done it in the past and lost my focus point, but I like your result
@EVF Aha I've been there, The best thing I think to overcome it, is to try out different techniques before choosing one that would look the best - The problem with the original/first piece though was that it didn't have enough value so it made it kind of flat. I suggest watching some youtube videos about colour theory Heres two I found really helpful - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kQllLy_X4I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj1FK8n7WgY
