Zbrush tool loading issue

just wanted to know if anybody has run into this issue with 4R8 P2:
if Zbrush has been running for a while, perhaps in background, perhaps in a session that was put to sleep and later woken up again it does happen pretty regularly that when trying to load in a ztool an error message pops up telling me -
unknown tool
loading has been aborted
doesn't seem to matter if it's a blank Zbrush session or if there are other subtools loaded already. it's no out-of-memory issue and the size of the subtool on disk does not seem to play a role either.
