Hello.
People say Arnold would be better for CG and animations!
I lately dove into Vray and found that Vray is pretty indepth and pretty well organized when it comes to light behaviour, but I didnt check out Arnold.
So I wondered why do people say this?
Does arnold has any benefits when it comes to scene creation? I heard interior lighting would'nt be satisfying.
Now don't get too technical. Just want a few corner points which benefits I would have with arnold when i want to make beautiful scenes.
Rendertime aside.

its really fast with direct light... but not that fast with indirect gi lighting scenes...
it work really well with dispmaps, hair, volumetrics...
but its a brute force only render... no light cache no irradiance map... just brute force gi...
think the easiest way to see how its performing is to load the learning scenes and hit render...

vray does have hundreds of features for everything...
arnold does only one thing... render animations brute force...
But other than that I just don't see the benefit of arnold other than it being "simple".
Which is no benefit.
