Maya rigging human IK problem

Hello. I'm korean 3D artist. So my English can be wrong.

I started animation work recently. It making for game asset.
But I got some problem at rigging thumb.




This is the painting for explanation.



The green part is result that what I want.
When I move handle of thumb, I want to bend inward.
So I changed joint's orient. But when I create control rig, It's orient automatic.
And I rotated joint, But same result continues.



It is the usual result when move handle.
It rotate Z direction. As same as other fingers.
I want rotate Y direction.

It make really tired me. I founded solution on internet for a long time, but I can't founded that.
I'll really thanks if you tell solution. Thanks for read!
