Few more updates on things. Some of the details like the large indents I am using floating geo for, find it a lot quicker than modelling it into the surface itself.
I picked up Tim Bergholz's (ChamferZone) new mech tutorial and some of the stuff in it has helped me workflow a lot. Not so much for the highpoly this time around but for the next one for sure and just in time to improve my UV mapping.
Been kind of busy but finally baked this thing out. A few shots below from the substance painter view port of how its looking at the moment, a few bits are missing from it at the moment.
Ended up stripping back a lot of the dirt and stuff this weekend felt way to procedural. Not so sure about the orange on the air bag too anymore. Hopefully will get time during the week this week to look at it too, anyone have any thoughts or anything though at the moment, gona take a break for the rest of tonight I think.
