I didnt want to ask because it sounds rather simple but I cant seem to find/ figure out a solution.
I've sculpted a character, one average and one fat. (same polygons)
I created a low poly from the average and now how do I create a morph into the fat ?
What i had in mind is the retopo could remember what face each point is on when switching sculpts, I saw something similar to this using uv maps which I cant find either
.

You did it backwards. You should have created the fat from the average AFTER retop. Morph targets are vert-order dependent.
for possible solutions, please state your software as it saves us from guessing.
No worries though, they were created in a day and can easily be done again. They were for practice and learning things such as this.
Thanks for your response.
Imagine the normals of a buff guy on a fat mesh.
I see what you are saying when i did it backwards, sculpt ontop of the newly made low poly version.
