Filter Recent Topics Search

I would love to be able to customize the 'Recent' search to ignore specific forums. Is there an easy way to do this?

The Recent search (actually called "discussions") has an RSS feed: http://polycount.com/discussions/feed.rss

If you use a RSS reader thingy (there are some free online ones) that allows you to filter items, you can filter them based on category like only reading entries from "Technical Talk" for example.
