I hope this is the right section in the forum for my question. If it's not, please let me know.
I am still very new to this, so please consider you are explaining to a noob. ^^
So... my problem is the following:
I am trying to create an eye following a tutorial and everything was
fine until I started working with the nodes for the materials in Maya +
Arnold (2017) + alShaders. I created a mask (as a texture), which should make the
cornea of the eye transparent above the iris. However, when I connect
the nodes (as shown in the pictures below), the entire eye turns black (something like a silhouette).
What am I doing wrong? Please advise. Also if you need more information, please let me know.
