@Hinsegin looks great yet again the only thing i feel like i can give my two cents on is the feet look a little bit to small but it might be due to the angle and colors matching excited to see the finished
I agree, I have made them slightly larger.
UVs laid out, tested with a 1024 and a 512 and decided on 512. There is geometry to draw the sword, which I plan to do for final presentation pose.
Nice work Kiraitul ! I really like how shapes are going ! Nice progresss Leon_Raven , keep going !
I'm late on my character, I didn't progress enough, I probably wont have finished the texture by the end of the month, but hopefully the hightpoly will be.
Here is a progress shot . Need to refine the weapon, add the skeletton hand, then i'll details more every part of the mesh, add noise and texture, and bake it, and finish with material in UE4. Probably gonna take me one more week from now to finish everything.
@Hinsegin Loving the robot so far man, can't wait to see it finished. @Nizidranamitz Love the work so far as well, you seemed to have bulked the character up. Also, maybe bring the neckline near the bottom of the pecks as the character wears it low.
Update on mine so far after my holiday, going slow and getting back into things. Still blocking things out so much still to do. I'm struggling with the hair on this one trying to add more to it. Any help and feedback would be great .
@Swaggernaut Nice start ! @Anomaly Hey, thanks for the tips I'll look into that. Very nice job sculpting the clothes, they look super good. However I noticed à couple of thing that bug me in the anatomy. Everything is quite straigh, no curve, as flat cylinder. I did a couple of screen to show what I mean. Hope it helps !
@Nizidranamitz Thank you very much for the feedback, I have used some of it to move forward. The anatomy I think it fits for a female and age I am going for but I did adjust it slightly as it was a little straight. Thank you
@Hinsegin Loving the textures, keep the updates coming.
@twoquiznos Nice work on the face and overall character thus far, I think to remove the sword from the sheath in the back as she wields two in hand.
Question: how frequent is "too often" to update? I am only getting 20 minutes here, 15 minutes there to work on my texture, so for example while I am done for today and would be fine making a preview to post, maybe it is spamming the thread?
Hey guys ! Looks really cool Hinsegin, you re totally capturing the character. nice sculpt anomaly, the balance is definitly better. love how you made clothes and mask ! Very nice work Isunoj, I'm awed by the fold work ! Twoquiznos : good work so far ! Looking more and more like the character.
I carried on too, here is my Hipoly model. Will probably move on to retopo pretty soon. I'm puzzled as to how to tackles the topology of pant clothes , though. If I keep everything quad but deform poly to goes along with fold, will it look nice once animated?
Hi @Nizidranamitz. I try to keep all quads possible, especially in the parts of the joints. In parts where there are remarkable folds, you can do edges along them to maintain flow and silhouette.
@Hinsegin to answer ur question im kinda in the same boat as i do 20 to 30 mins here and there so i just try and post a couple of days apart i like seeing the notification that someone has added something so if u feel like u accomplished a small little chunk i would post it
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE the end of the challenge is always the hardest part keep pushing urselves
@Anomaly Looks awesome but it might be worth the scale the zipper down a bit. @Isunoj Sculpt is looking great! although I think you could relax the pants around the butt a bit more have some big hanging folds.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I forgot to resize the zipper but here is the progress on posing and setting up the light. @Nizidranamitz Great progress so far will be very interested to see it finished.
Great work all! I haven't been updating much, sorry about that. I am still working on my character, I am almost finished with the low poly version and ready to start baking. Here's a screengrab of my high poly in Zbrush:
Things are looking great! Good job to everyone! A new challenge will be updated tomorrow, and don't worry if you can't finish this one in time you are more than welcome to keep working on it either in this thread or in a new thread.
@Anomaly okay, thanks. Nice job on the final render on artstation .
Gj everyone for your models !Very fond of your hight poly @Kiraitul
Did a last touch up on the texture. probably need more dirt and grunge on it. I don't have time to finish gun and rigg right now, will upload the project later. Does anyone has a quicker solution than rigg for posing character? I find that posing it with transpose master is somewhat problematic and time consuming as well.

Keep going!

Struggling a bit with giving the boots a more detailed feel. I will update on that soon.
Nice progresss Leon_Raven , keep going !

Here's my take with some minor difference from the concept since I couldn't make it out or it just didn't make sense to me

A bit more. I lost some time trying to render gold for the sword hilt and pommel, going with a flat yellow metal instead now.
