Completely new... looking for 3D artist?

Hello!

So I'm completely new, and no idea if this is the right place to post about looking for a 3D modeler. I'd love it to have a 3D model of a character of mine, one you could animate your self on a program. 

Can anyone help me out where I can get directions?
