Hi there! I'm joining the challenge. I don't know if I will finish it in due time but I really digged the concept and I think it's a great exercise to initiate myself in stylized characters.
@djackson362 I think something is going on with your maps in your sketchfabs because I can't see them correctly. For what I see in the preview, I like the sword. Would be cool to see the wolf grasping the sword to check the scale^^
@gacek95 your high poly is just outstanding. You really captured the Witch' spirit. I even used your work as reference.
As can be seen, haven't worked the head, hands and hair yet but I will do it soon, when the body is finished I guess. That's how the Witch is looking so far:
Hi everyone. Here is an update on the wolf. I really wanna add some fur to this guy but really don't like how its coming out. I guess he will be a bald guy. Let me know what you think.. @JoseGR I always have problems with my maps. It never fails lol. I like the start to your with it looks like it will turn out nice. Thanks!
@Naeevhna how did you do the braids? They look awesome and have 3 packs of hair, whilst the rest of the people (including myself) did a twist with 2 cylindrical shapes. Generally i like the hair, did you dynamesh this or made it in maya/max?
Iam considering my hi-poly done..will add the missing details with textures and alphas and starting to retop it. @JoseGR - Yeah did that, thanks for suggesting, your witch seems a bit angry though @Torch - Nice to see wolfy here, your modeling is good but definitley add some more fur parts to face/neck, shoulder area.
Hello guys! I just finished the retopology. As said, the witch won't be done in due time but I'll keep working on it. Time to start unwrapping and baking
Just a reminder to everyone, if you want to finish your models outside of the challenge, you are more than welcome to do so! You can continue to contribute to this thread or start your own, this thread will just no longer be pinned.
@Isunoj Thank you! Your work in the current Character Art Challenge is looking really good. I'll be following your progress
@Alemja thank you for taking time to make the modifications. Didn't notice the "dead eye", I'll make it up for sure. I also will revise the lighting setup
@razzman I think the flat look worked pretty well! Minor crits I have is that it would be nice to see some shadows under her feet, if this is in Marmoset 3 it has a shadow catcher that can be added. I would also desaturate the background, it will make the presentation look a little nicer:

Would love to hear some feedback^^
Getting my high poly almost done..i guess 90% is ready.
@razzman looking good but I would suggest you to break the symmetry in the hair
Need to work some more planes on this guy, little lumpy XD
@JoseGR - Yeah did that, thanks for suggesting, your witch seems a bit angry though

Also changed the braids because I wasn't totally happy with them. I'm calling the high poly done so... It's time to make the retopology.
It's pretty obvious it won't be done by the end of May but I'll finish the sculpt for sure.
What will be the next challenger?
cheers,
@razzman Looking good! I'm looking forward to see more soon
Haven't posted for a while but I kept working on so finally I'm calling the Little Witch done. It would be great to get some feedback

Cool work. Congratulations.

My approach is more flat like, could be better for sure but as it is..calling it done for now.
Any crits welcome!
Cheers,

@JoseGR Thanks, did the changes.
Adjusted some little things according to feedback, plus tuned the lighting a bit...I hope it feels better now.
