Hi everyone! I'm prest you my latest project. Here is MD-F4, security turret. I have integrated this model in Unreal Engine 4 with its animation. I'm opened to the criticisms and feedbacks.
Seems a little overkill to have 3 material material ids for very similar style materials. Wouldn't be too hard to atlas those together to ruduce draw calls.
I think the scratches are a bit overdone, who is going around scratching all these hard surface turrets anyway? Your lighting setup in ue4 really could be improved. Maybe take a look at deus ex or some other modern sci-fi game, or movie and try to emulate a lighting setup to get more mood in there.
It looks very cool to me, especially in UE4 OK it's not a ready 'Ingame' model but this is a nice piece of art for your portfolio. I would like to point that sometimes it is very cool to see people making things without PS4 (or else) limitations...let's do Art! (Btw, which program did you use for recording your screen please, just curious?)
Thanks for your feedbacks, it's my first big asset integrated in game egine. Yes 3 material, i can more optimze this. My lighting is weak I take account of your criticisms Iused OBS for recorded.
The MD-F4 Security Turret in UE4 is a game-changer, combining stunning visuals with advanced security features. Its seamless integration into Unreal Engine 4 elevates gaming experiences, setting a new standard for virtual security challenges.
