humvee modeling problem

i am starting to learn modeling and i thought modeling a humvee would be a good practice but the chassis of the car is visible and very noticeable so i have to model it but the details of it are not clear so i am not able to model it, o how can i deal with this ?

If your reference image is not clear, a good first step is to gather more reference images.  Most artists don't work with just one or two shots of subject matter.  Sometimes it's dozens of images from many different angles.

Google humvee chassis or undercarriage. If you can live with a simplified version looking at how it's assembled for some plastic model kits can also be helpful.
