This is really cool, the teleportation movement have been one of the reasons ive never really got exited about VR. you have this amazing new way to get immersed into a game, but then you can either make games where you stationary, or teleport around, totally breaks the feeling in my opinion.
this could be really cool, exited to see where this goes.
its a nice collection..but not game changing...he's pretty much collected a bunch of locomotion methods that are freely available in Suites like VRTK and all over the VR Dev community..
The main reason most VR app default to teleportation for locomotion is because it is the only sure fire way not to make someone sick..You don't want anyones first VR experience to end in simulation sickness...More Devs are adding different locomotion options of late though.. So those that have VR legs can use other methods
Gabe Newell eluded to Brain Controled Interface in his AMA just recently...some have speculated that that may be used as a locomotion system..that with something to trick your vistibular system would be a game changer

Yeah, I noticed this recently as well; the user experience/level design in games for VR is going to become a lot more challenging I think because of this. I think this will be a great example of how to set up traversal options for future games. It's also pretty nice that people get a chance to figure out what's easiest for them through a free demo.
Something to consider mates, We also have a solution to this problem, and if you're going to GDC you can try it for yourself at our booth. I think our solution is easier, and allows users to "play" without getting all sweaty. have a look:
