Sketchbook: Dan Francis (IchiDan)

Hey Guys! 

I'm Dan Francis, otherwise known as IchiDan (sounds like i have so kind of disease, I'm fully aware) 

I have had this on my mind for a while, and finally came to the conclusion that this sketchbook wont create itself unless I do. So here i am, I'm am currently a freelance artist (looking for a new studio position though) creating a digital sketchbook to throw down my progress, my studies and all kinds of other art related things as a means to push myself and push my skill forward to better myself for the games industry. 

Just to state now, i am absolutely open to critique as i want to improve, and hopefully in that process i can share my critiques with you all.

This is currently what im working on, just rigging now so that i can get the pose down, and then go in for final texture fixes. 
Been working on this through 3d coat and photoshop and its a dream creating handpainted stuff! i love it! 
Based on Violet from the comic Rat Queens. 

This one has been in the process for a while but i need to get this one cleared, i have far too many WIPS.

Just managed to finish of this piece, or at least to a place where i can call it done and be happy to move on! 
I think from this point on, at least for now I'm going to focus more on anatomy studies as im finding myself lacking on my fundamentals.
