Need Help in finding reference for Art Deco Environment

Hello everyone and happy new year.So my school assignment is about creating art deco environment and i'm having trouble in finding reference for it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.It would also be helpful if someone can give me advice on finding references as i feel i'm not really good at it.

p.s. I was thinking if this would fit in art deco.

Other things I can think of that have similar styles, search for

-1920's interiors
- Bishock references and concepts (give you an idea on proportions used and generic geometry used)
- Some of the Fallout games may have similar styles too

@Beard3D Bandit- Thank you so much for the input.I'll starting digging into it.The problem is i'm not getting that one good one for the starting point and art deco is kind of confusing.

ermm, well I guess establish what kind of scene you want to do, and match it to your current skill level e.g. If you know how to create tiling textures, and are familiar in creating interior scenes, then a whole interior scene will be okay. However, if you're not familiar with creating large scenes, then a smaller scene with some props will help. Or even try a single prop (lamp or door) to get you used to the shapes and materials used.

You will probably notice that creating high poly hard surface models will help in this style. 

Do you have any links to work you've created? a website or anything?

Do your art history research. What are the underlying principles of the movement? How did it start? What was the historical context? What are the major artworks from that time? Pinterest is good for initial start and overall feel, but keep in mind it's not accurate (I swear 70% of everything on that site is mislabeled). Search websites of actual art museums, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art: http://www.metmuseum.org/search-results#!/search?q=art deco. Go to your library/bookstore/kindle store and check out some books on the subject.

@Beard3D Bandit - Yes i know about tiling textures and Modularity for the environment.For now i don't have anything that can be posted.Just working on the school assignments.Yes i thinking the same too(high poly hard surface). Thank you for your input.

What sort of environment? Art deco is a pretty wide aesthetic, and there's a big difference between, say, a hotel lobby or the cabin of a submarine captain.

If you already have a specific idea of the function of your environment, telling us would help us suggest some references. If you don't, I'd highly recommend thinking of a specific purpose for the environment you're making!

@fhurtubise - So the instruction is  that it can be anything as long as it resembles art deco(wasn't specific and that made me confused). The idea is go for a small environment  piece and it can be anything like a lobby of a hotel or a room interior.I'm looking more for a hotel lobby deco and something that resembles the style.

Why not do a hotel bedroom? You could even give it some extra personality, make it the bedroom of a 1930s spy or something!

I'm kidding, of course— do a lot of research too, and look at more than staplers— but I think it does a good job of distilling down the elements of art deco into a small object. I keep one on my desk as inspiration (and to staple things).
