does anyone know where to find a lot of human references, preferably of varying ages, sexes and shapes. googling only gives fineart.sk which isnt very good. what do people here use, if you going to make a old woman for example?
i cant log in to pinterest for some reason, but ive heard its good so maybe i try some more. i want all kinds of photos of people, old, young, fat, thin, with and without clothes. i want to learn to draw better people so anything is helpful really. but id prefer to stay away from models and moviestars, traditional beauty gets boring fast.
It doesn't have nudity, but for things like faces and poses I go to Shutterstock: https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=elder+woman+face On each image page it has a "preview" button that shows a higher resolution image, it's watermarked but enough to get the details.
As long as you only 'look' at the images as reference (and don't import them on Photoshop or trace over them), it's about as "illegal" as looking at them.
