hello sorry for my bad english ,
 So, when i use the spotlight tool to paint some texture on my object and press z, The image reference is still there.
how to make it so that the image reference disappears when i press z?

You can use the spotlight wheel to decrease the opacity of Spotlight, so that it isn't as distracting when sculpting. You can turn it off entirely with Shift+Z but then no colors will be sampled from it.
