Hello new to polycount . This is a Space Marine I created inspired by games like Dead Space. Modeled and textured in Zbrush and rendered in Maya. Please let me know what you think. Also, feel free to check out some of my other work aswell :
hi! i forgot i had this tab open! this is out to a pretty good start, few things that could use a little more work are: the around feel a bit sausage-y around the elbows (the need more anatomical definition, there should be more of a pinch where the elbow is, so that the bicep, elbow, and forearm aren't the same width), and the shoulders feel a little bit narrow/soft (which might be partially caused by the previously mentioned sausage elbow) as far as the texture, you've got a good bit of variance going in the albedo but could use some more variance in the surface quality (right now it feels like everything except the visor is made more or less of the same material). it would probably also help to add some wear and tear, edge highlighting and whatnot
the first thing that caught my eye was the part where the shoulder pads connect. it looks like you just slapped on clay brush messily and called it a day. it could use some kind of refinement. The chest piece looks kind of like a bra, but at first glance i thought it was a male soldier but now I'm not sure. overall I think the edges could use refinement, like the helmet if nothing else. you could probably play a lot more with the hipolish brush on that part.
