a stylized swamp home i have been working trying to put the life in it just looking for feed back on things i could add to make more appealing or interesting any help would be appreciated and thanks for your time and taking a look
working on the environment still looking to get feedback on the feel of scene and if its ready for texturing or if more sculpting details to make it feel alive is needed.
- The stairs need a lot of work. They don't look like stairs, they look like pillows that are stacked at a way which physics wouldn't actually allow.
- The rocks need more work imo. It looks like you went crazy with the trim dynamic brush but in the wrong way. Find some references for rocks. I was almost able to overlook the rocks until my eye fell on the rock right in front of the stairs; It has a huge flat spot on the top that just seems odd. Then I started to look from rock to rock and all I see is the trim dynamic brush.
- The wood planks the house is sitting on look too thick and blobby, and don't seem like they're put together in a way where the house would remain standing. Your wood base seems quite cartoonish/stylized, maybe you're going for that?
- The trees don't seem to have any texture to them, but maybe you're going to add this on the texturing process?
I like the actual house. You did a good job on the roof especially, and I like the overall shape of the trees!
thanks a lot Ash for the feedback i appreciate it i will work on the stairs soon i did over use clip brush on the rocks thanks for spotting it out ill change it they are stylized overall on the design but ill see how hard edges look trees were quick tests with ztree definitely adding more later
an update on the scene made some changes in the trees, rocks and steps still up for opinions on the scene and thoughts on things that are working and are not. thanks for looking
