@Faf thanks for sharing! it looks really cool. Would you say using zbrush really speeds up the proces, or does it make it just easier for you? I mean setting up the base mesh, the sculpting, baking etc also takes up quite a bit of time. For me (as a beginner) it makes things just easier, it doesn't speed up my proces. anyway, just wondering.
@tomenjerry : that doesn't necessary speed up the process compared to fully handpainted but it's the way my brain works I think both techniques are taking the same amount of time when you become comfortable, it's just a matter of what's easier for you !
Hey @Faf Thank you for the tutorial, really interesting and amazing work! Is there any chance you can explain or show your process with all the map generated from your sculpt? You say you use all the different map combined to get your 'composite' texture, but im unsure as how you turned all those textures into that amazing base, before any paint has been applied. Again thank you, awesome work on Legion, very very jealous
This is excellent! Indeed the sculpt helps a lot to get a very polished result like this. I always say to myself to learn this new style, I want to learn , I just don't know when to start. Thank you for share with us
Hey @Faf really amazing work here! Thanks for share your process I just have a doubt, when you make use of this process in more 3D element (not to much 2D planes likes this one) were you need to make UV seams (cuts), if you make use of the normal map texture, this UV seams would not see well cause the vertex normal differences made by the UV seams (cuts) right? Or there is another way to avoid this? Again, thanks for sharing your great work!!
@chemotoledo Well what I like about this process, it's that there is always a final paint over pass anyway So you can always fix the seams, or baking errors etc ....
@Faf Yea, absolutely agree with you the main idea its to make the enjoyable hand painted process. Anyway, your work its AWESOME! I'll follow you as a source of inspiration! Keep rocking Faf!
@Faf I didn't see the presentation live. I really want to seee it is it going to be archived in some way? It's not in the video archive on blizzcon I beleive.

Just be sure that you deactivate the perspective in Zbrush
