Hi!
If I remember well, if you select a point on a spline in Maya, press J and move it around, then the rest of the spline will follow smoothly (no gravity or anything, it's just like a soft selection, but does only affect the vertices after/before, so it doesnt mess with those on the side, but at another distance on the spline)
So I am looking for the same, but in Max
