Highclere Castle...

I'm looking for reference material for interior catwalks/walkways similar to those found in Highclere castle, maybe not by design but physical space(columns, open wall with rails).  If there's particular terminology, I do not know it and may be why I am not finding all that much.

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but try searching for Jacobethan style architecture or even Elizabethan architecture. They both have quite high open rooms with arches.

Thank you for your responses!  I was also told about mezzanines and have looked into those as well.  Having options to play with will definitely help in what I'm helping build.  Eventually, I'll begin a thread about the project I'm building.  Ha ha!

I'm finding a lot of reference material to use.  And the one thing I'd like to work on or have access to are the emboss patterns shaped into some of the wood patterns.  Are there stock generic images I can use as stencils in Substance Painter?  Or even tutorials where I can create the patterns in Substance Designer.  Also, I have found molding patterns that I can use or recreate from reference in SD as well.  My thinking is to create a tile sheet for wood pieces in Substance Designer with various wood molds.  With a normal map sheet created from Substance Painter if I need to go that route.
