Hello Polycount!
We here at Microsoft Studio’s – The Coalition recently released Gears of War 4. With the release, many of the hard working and talented artists want to share of their work with the Polycount community.
For the next few weeks we will be using this forum post to show work created for the game. Due to the incredible collaborative efforts between each department to bring the title to release, many of these works had joint involvement and multiple artist’s input. In order to highlight some of each of these artists and groups specific talents, each week we will feature a different artist group to show their work and process. We will begin with Characters and work our way through weapons, environments, lighting, etc.
Dan Roarty (Lead Character Artist) will begin this thread by posting on behalf of the character team later today
Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for work from every department including some of the new DLC content we will be releasing.
We hope you enjoy the work as much as we enjoyed making it!

Below is some of the work we've done on weapons and vehicles team. We didn't separate it all into who's done what as there was a lot of overlap between us and our partners at Mindwalk. Bots and vehicles will be posted soon! I hope you enjoy!

The environment team will be posting their work today. Since there is a ton of environment work to show off including some of the newest DLC content, each member of the team will be posting their own shots of some of the awesome work that was done for Gears of War 4. As more DLC continues to come out we will continue to post some of that work as well!

The Forklift is in the latest DLC maps.
@cmc444, all that swarm stuff is absolutely remarkable. You can definitely tell it had to be a full team effort to fit with the level properly.
Never played any title Gears of War, should change that I guess.
