Hello folks, I'm looking to come back to an old project that was never really finished and I'd like advice as to how to make it portfolio worthy. It's a stylized vending machine from a fictional Soviet future. The concept (below) is by Matthew Cook. It was styled after Telltale's Walking Dead games, since that was the company I was gunning for at the time. I was aiming for a lower poly count.
Basically, I want to know if this is salvageable, or if I should just start from scratch again. There are a lot of visible seams in the texture, mismatched levels of detail in the polys, and pieces of the concept that I left out because this was a timed school project and I mismanaged my time. Is the modeling solid enough that I could go in and fix the modeling issues, re-UV and retexture the whole thing? How do I proceed with this to make it a portfolio-ready piece?
