Hey everyone,
I have a question about texturing modular pieces of geometry. I have a bunch of modular pieces with different width. I mean (height x width) 300x300, 300x200, 300x100,300x50. I do not understand how to use tiling material on that non square geometry. Please give me some advices (or link on the tutorial) on workflow how to create UV for using tiling material on modular assets.
Thank you!

Regarding textures: If you are attempting to use the same tiling texture across all the wall panels and keep the same information on each, you're going to need to stretch the uv's, however that will stretch the texture. On the mentioned tutorials, artists often break pieces of textures off with slight bevels and create textures within specifically sized footprints. I've found the easiest way to use modular wall panels is to break them up with pillars, columns or objects that cover the seam. This enables you to use the same texture as much as possible and not worry about seams, while keeping the texture density the same. Do you have an example of the type of texture you are trying to create for the walls? I've found it's very rare that walls actually are seamless throughout an entire room.
Thank you!
