Hello fellow XMD contesters! Not much to comment on this week other than working more on the face to get it closer to what I want!  and a little bit of concepting below!





Time to flush out the character a little more over the next week and then get into a little environment and technology ideas flowing. My basic concept right now is that this mysterious man that David meets is capturing humans to stay at his soiree forever. Kind of like a Twilight Zone episode where he has them all posted up at his party like a dollhouse.

The frame I want to capture is that of my female character that David first sees as he enters the party. She is standing at the top of the main staircase in front of David. The camera is framed at a mid body/ waist up position. She looks off to the side dismissively with a thousand yard stare. She is dressed in a beautiful cream colored gown of the appropriate era. Around her neck is a futuristic collar of sorts. Flowing from it is a cable, leading off behind her into the hallway in the background that you can see. Up in the corner out of focus will be a surveillance camera of some kind, possibly Hal 9000-ish.

ANYWAY - that's the gist. I'm looking to bring more technology into the idea as I move forward. Still a lot to do

Going to do a little more to push this to a point where I am more happy with it. Than get my render on hopefully here soon.

Been looking at setting up some initial passes for render. Just some basic flat lighting and materials right now. Hoping to spice it up here over the next week!
