Hello, I just finally made a polycount account after numerous times lurking. I'm in my 2nd year at the Art Institute of Dallas. I can't wait to get to posting and getting feedback from others. I am making this post for just that actually. I am looking down a career path in Environment and Level Design. I've been told these are two distinctly different paths. I was wanting some input on what each one encompasses and what might be good portfolio work for these.
Here's what I already know.
-Photoshop Texturing
-ZBrush ( amateur-ish )
-3DsMax Modeling / Unwrapping / Baking
-Unreal Blueprinting ( again amateur )
-Unreal Engine
-Unity Engine
I have some of my work here from classes so it varies.

Level design requires playable levels. Do you have any of those yet?

I couldn't get my Unreal one built out for some reason. Visual Studios is fighting it. I included some .txt file with information on the two that I have.
