Hi can someone make a short tutorial on making a transparent texture in DDO and how to apply it to a model. For example somebody wants to make grass on a flat polygon with transparency. I know how to make it in 3D software like blender but i can't find any tips on how to make it in DDO ...

To get this effect in DDO, one must simply use the DDO menu --> Add New Map --> Opacity. Once you add an Opacity map, you can set any of your existing masked layers to any color range you desire for proper opacity within the map channel. To see this in 3DO, click on the mesh group and select the desired transparency type. Creating an opacity map is really no different than how it's been done before, except now it's created within a dedicated channel that gets combined into your exported textures.
I've edited your topic and thread to reflect DDO instead of Quixel. Our company is Quixel, DDO is the texturing tool we create. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you!
PS. I both the full QuxelSiut :Pit's awesome hope it will grow with functions and more basic tutorials like creating materials and so on
