3ds max Unwrap UVW: Loop mode or Ring mode possible?

Anybody have an idea if Loop mode or Ring mode selection is possible in the Unwrap UVW modifier?
Similar to the "PolyTools" "RingModeToggle" and "PolyTools" "LoopModeToggle"

In pre-2017 versions unwrap uvws selection is rubbish. But in 2017 Adesk have finally implemented a more uniform approach to unwrap selections.

personally, I use Miauu's script Easypeel as it allows selection the way it should always have been.
