Been working on and off of an adventure game in Unreal Engine. Decided to share what I have created. Planning on adding to this collection in the near future.
I like how snappy his sword swings are and his movement looks pretty good in game. Maybe try to get the tip of his sword further out in the swing? It seems like he's swinging a little short. I'd also suggest shooting him on a more contrasted background for critique purposes. The screen full of warm hues makes it sort of hard to read clearly. Looking forward to seeing more! =D
Thanks for the responses guys! I have tweaked the sword swing to come out slightly further during the arc. Will post a gif when I can. @derphouse what do you have in mind for the smear frames? I had been looking at getting a stretchy effect through a shader but that didn't pan out.
Added new sword gif. The longer reach does appear better, however I messed up the export and one of the swings has more frames than the other. Somehow it affects the character controllers ability to pivot and cleanly strike behind as he did in the first gif I posted.
Furthermore I think I may switch to posting youtube videos from now on. Its already a bit of a pain to load a thread with so many gifs. Is there a preferred format for animation uploads on polycount?

Loving the animations and you could go with Sketchfab to showcase your model/anims in a 3d view or synchsketch if you want drawn/written critique
Ah right, yeah I meant more in the sense of stretching rather than actually smearing. It might be a personal preference, but as of now, the animations all move him somewhat simultanously from one place to another, where I think, especially with the dash, it might look cool to have a drag effect on parts of his body. But to be fair, can't say whether it'll reinforce or break your current style.

Alternate run cycle.
