Kwalee is hiring! We're looking for a QA technician to join us!
Kwalee is an expanding, independent mobile game developer based right in the heart of Leamington Spa, England, specialising in multiplayer, mass market games featuring user generated content. The Company was founded by David Darling CBE in 2011 (he was one of the original founders of Codemasters). We have a dynamic, highly experienced team of developers, including the original creator of Micro Machines, who use their talents to create highly innovative and exciting games.
As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our games are extremely high quality and bug free. Your QA techniques will need to be demonstrably of the highest quality and you should have a proven track record of testing commercially successful console or mobile games.
You must have:
A minimum 1 year of “hands-on” bug reporting experience within the mobile or console games industry.
The ability to produce high quality bug reports including; a detailed description, accurate reproduction steps and severity rating, etc.
Experience testing server dependant applications.
A methodical, scientific and analytical mindset.
A creative mindset motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best.
Strong communication skills.
A strong willingness to be a team player who will contribute daily to developing great games.
An avid interest in mobile games.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Excel or equivalent (spreadsheets).
Test plan creation, maintenance.
Experience with live-ops applications (regular updates).
Salary and location:
Salary is between £18,000 to £23,000 depending upon experience and your proven track record plus company benefits and royalties sharing scheme.

This job is based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
The position involves working 40 hours per week in our office.
