Hey guys,
is there a way to pack my UVs in iPackThat without collapsing my meshes? Every time I try to do it, iPackThat crashes.

okay, now i can narrow more the problem. I think instances inside 3ds max are the reason for the crash. is there any work around for this bug?

Not Instances was my problem, my UV shells. You need to move all shells in 0-1 before exporting/importing to ipackthat. That was my huge mistake

You can work with shells outside of 0-1 - I do this all the time.
Make sure you're not using a hierarchy in FBX. That will crash it almost guaranteed. Kick it out to OBJ and you should have no issues.
