Zbrush z intensity to high?

As long as I can recall if I want really fine pressure on my brush I need to have the z intensity down to like 3-20 pressure.  This sucks because I have so little room to refine the pressure. 

I wish if was at 50 pressure it felt more like 5 does now. This way I'd have far more fidelity in pressure. anyone else feel this way ?

Love to hear any solutions to having lots more fidelity in pressure.

If you have a wacom tablet you can make application specific profiles for the pressure curve in the driver control panel.

Zbrush is scale sensitive. like litterary the size of your model effect al lot of stuff, they dont calculate brush sensitivite "localy" or how ever you wanna call it, so increasing the size of your sculpt might help.

Also, you can use the Imbed function for extra control. But, as mentioned, it's always advised to work at ZB's native scale (Unify) for the most predictable results.

I think I'm going to try the profile curve for the cintiq. That makes a ton of sense. Brilliant. Thanks gang

This. All 3d apps like to work at their own default size. I cant stress how much easier unifying the mesh is at the beginning of a project.
