Howdy peeps. Decided to have another go at the good old fashion female head to see if my mad skillz have gotten any better (also second time I have seriously tried to do hair). Tried to do some more distinct features like fuller cheeks and such. Anyhow enjoy and tear it apart if you want to.
What reference were you using for this? What was your goal? Immediately the nose/eyes/lips/Collarbone stand out So with the nose the bridge feels huge, Which seems to push the eyes really far apart. Combined with the heavy brow you have going on its just giving off a very "eh" feeling (Im great at decription) Then the lips feel too large. They normally should only come to the tips of the inner eyes
Obviously the collarbone just feels wrong because its not connecting etc
The forehead feels slanted backwards, and maybe too far back in relation to the nose
I think that you should look directly down or up on your face, and do what I call the "Triangle" test. If looking directly down or up forms a triangle feel, then theres a lot anatomically wrong. Which there just feels like there is with this face, but its hard to be 100% without a reference
