I am currently working on a Star Trek-related skin for this contest.
I started with a Desert Eagle . The design is inspired by the look of the USS Enterprise's exterior.
My first step was a light grey pattern which i the applied on the weapo. After this I

I added a writing. Do not know what to improve even though i am not happy with it. Here is how looks know:
