Hello everyone! This is my sketchbook post. Please look it over and let know what you guys think. Critiques, suggestions, opinions are all welcome. Thank you for all the support.
Let me start off with this Sphynx Cat I recently finished. I sculpted and textured in Zbrush, Modeled the pedestal in 3ds max and textured it in Quixel. I then brought it together and rendered in Marmoset.
Here is another personal project I did a while ago that still needs to be textured. She is a design that I did on my own and I am proud of how she came out since this is my 2nd attempt at her. If anyone is interest I can post up how she looked like before when I first modeled her towards the end of last year.
Working on another personal project with my own drawn out concepts. I have two different clothes designs for her as well as multiple color schemes that I am still trying to decide for her. She is a small pixy girl and I wanted to use nature to be part of her wardrobe.
Figured I can get started on the body mesh for her at least till I can decide which one to go with. I have also censored the model since she is a child. Please let me know if the censor is not enough. I would also like some opinions as far as to which wardrobe I should go for and what color scheme.
Been a while since I have posted on here. I recently decided to start doing some anatomy studies. The first study I am doing is of a human female skull. It is still a wip as I am still trying to get proportions and shape right but any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance
Figured I might as well put these updates on my sketchbook as well. Here are some updates to what I am doing for the XMD contest. Here is the link to my thread within the contest if anyone wants to go check it out.
Just an exercise that I am trying to get into the habit of doing. Figured I can try to do some type of anatomy sculpt every week or so. Right now I'm working on smoothing it out. Let me know what you guys think.
Practice model. Still trying to get the good enough workflow when modeling. Trying to get better with hard surface modeling and texturing as well. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3. Any feedback or comments are appreciated.
It's been a while since I last posted an update. Been working on it some more since there is the storm going through Texas right now. Since my last update I did do a lot more work. I started on the clothes using Marvelous Designer to get a good base for it. From there I start working on the high poly. Still have a lot to do with the jacket but after doing the clothes I will start retopping and getting it ready for posing. As far as for the base that he will be standing on, I was thinking of maybe a quick alleyway theme with wanted posters or newspapers on the ground. Still thinking about it. Please let me know what you think or what I can do better. For those going through the storm right now, be safe.
It look like you're still blocking it out, so Not much to say there, The silhouette doesn't read exactly like the concept art IMO. Its the legs, in the art they get reaaal skinny near the ankles. I can do a paintover when i get home, just figured you might wanna check that out. PS- STAY SAFE! We're not getting any crazy weather here in Dallas, but I know its gettin weird in Austin.
Didn't quite make it to the challenge but I at least wanted to add this to my sketchbook. I continued working on it and trying to finish it afterwards. Very bad at trying to post updates on polycount as well. Trying to get better with that. Also, thanks @pmiller001 for your advice and concern during the storm. Real sorry I didn't see this message till now.
Here is the female anatomy study and base mesh I have been working on. Trying to better myself and I figured it would be a good base mesh for future projects.
Realized I haven't posted up any updates of the new project I have been working on. Trying to practice more with creating clothes and fabric while using Zbrush and Marvelous Designer with some inspiration from Punzi Ella's artwork. I really like the clothes that she has in some of her artwork and I figured it would be a nice base to start from. Go and check some of her work out.
