[Zbrush] - Projection Master Problem

Hi,
I've messing around with zbrush and its projection master, and I always end at a one point where I can't neither edit my 3d object or even export it (maybe the changes are there and I can't figure out how to recover them).
I'm basically using that brush showed on the image and switching betwen Zadd and Zsub. I don't know in which step I lose the ability to drop my changes in the model and be able to edit it.
