This environment is the very first environment piece that I have ever completed on my own. This was apart of a level design course at my school, and we were given close to complete creative freedom over the project. I had to get everything approved by my instructor before I got to work, and I also had to focus on learning new concepts in UE4. I learned a lot from this project, and I plan to use what I learned in my future projects.

I would like some critique on this piece. Even though everything was graded and finished, I want to know what I could do to make it even better.

    Hello Tyler,
I think this is a serious work, clean. Some remarks:
1/ You could have used more polygons on the rounded door (the bright lighted area).
2/ I'm not sure about the scale. The side doors don't seem high enough.
3/ The "grooves" in the metal ground look pretty deep, but once again it may be a matter of scale.
4/ It's funny and maybe a little strange, but the shadows casted by the lights between the pipes make me think of big leaves, as if the light and its shadows would be plants. Not sure wether this is clear to understand :) And not sure it's good or bad, it's just grabbed my attention.
5/ You can add one or two details, you know, little things that bring more life in the scene (cables, dead light, evidence of human presence...)

This is a good project considering it's your first scene in UE4.

Thank you so much for the feedback Daniel. I'm actually glad you talked about the door needing more geometry, because one of my instructors just pointed this out yesterday, so that will be definitely something I will update. As far as scale goes I think I will update this with the reference human model I used. Hopefully then things will make more sense. Once again, thank you.
