Hello guys,
I am currently working on a Maxscript Tool for 3ds Max called xNormal Batch Baker.
I have created this tool to improve my workflow between 3ds Max and xNormal when I'm baking maps without exiting 3ds Max. I've tought that maybe could be useful for the rest of the community.
xNormal Batch Baker for 3ds Max - Version 1.2 - 18/04/2016
In this video, you can see the complete workflow of xNormal Batch Generator
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LEo-0xWeYw Main Features- Similar xNormal UI workflow: The UI of the tools is designed to follow the similar worfklow that xNormal uses (set meshes properties, set high & low poly meshes, select normals to bake and adjust their settings, adjust bake settings ...).
- Complete configuration of your bakes: xNormal Batch Baker has all the properties that you can find in xNormal when you adjust your maps baking settings.
- Bake configuration saving: You can save you bake configuration and use it layer inside xNormal with no problems.
- Batch render of different kind of maps: You can setup a batch render of your normal maps, so you dont have to setup each mesh bake manually.
Changelog
Beta 1.4 (22/04/2016)
- Fixed exported textured format map dropwdown selection
- Script code is a bit more optimized
Known errors (will be solved very very soon)- Map format setting resets its value when tab is changed.
Any kind of feedback (report problems, suggestions for new features, etc) are more than welcome.

Is it possible to add a cage?
Hi @Scruples, thank you for using my script. I have taken note of all the bugs you have mentioned and I'm currently working on the script to solve them. During this next week I'll be released version 1.5 of the script with all this problems solved. About cages, is a feature that is in my to-do list so sooner or later I will incorporate it in the script.
Thank you very much for your feedback
