I'm mostly a 2D artist focusing on characters (and monsters in particular) and while I don't have much faith in my 3D work yet, I hope that'll change as this sketchbook progresses.
And no, they were drawn digitally in Krita (it's free) using mostly this brush (I believe I didn't change any of the default settings):
The cool thing about these sketch brushes is that you can quickly fill in large areas with one stroke, which makes sketching with them really fast and fun:
I got sick in December so I've been producing more phlegm than art for a while, but now I'm well again and ready to let the creative juices flow.
This is kind of a failed experiment. My goal was to create sth with high chroma and a lot of detail (which was a success IMO), but it started off as a doodle when I was sick and not in the right headspace to plan ahead, so now after 100+ layers, I feel like I've painted myself into a corner without a good way to finish this concept. So next time, 1. plan ahead even with a doodle; 2. think in terms of the whole concept, not just one area.
In other news, I've been making some strides when it comes to programming so that's nice.

A couple of fairly old low-poly models:
