Awesome! love that hair. Almost looks like snakes. maybe either putting the fur not just on the legs. Looks like Pan or Fauna a bit maybe changing the color of the fur. I mean she is in Hell not Heaven or the Elysian fields. Maybe a grey and blueish with a touch of salt and pepper like an old grey goat. Also again in hell maybe some more scars on the body and/or scales. I really don't care what you decide to do with her I love it anyway truly. I also loved that pose. you can still do it but make it a bit different. Luis Royo did that pose a bit different too. He has also made some Conan images. He is one of my favorite Artists and for someone to do that pose so well I am a total fan already. In the Q&A it says you can use other people's concepts as inspiration maybe ask them if a pose is ok to use like that. Just a thought. I believe you are using ZBrush so Happy ZBrushing!!
Many thanks for the comments and support. You guys are keeping me motivated. @DESMOND. Haha, yeah maybe. I should concentrate on the textures I think. The butt may look better with some color on it @MM. Thanks for the tipp. I should be able to reduce the normal map in this area a bit. Appreciate your feedback.
Can´t wait to see the final result! The overall shape, pose and detail speak for themselves, supersauber! I can imagine, that the retopo must have been a tedious process. What tool did you use for baking?
It's been a great time participating this competition. Many thanks for the support and motivating me to go on. Polycount is a great community for expressing yourself and learning something new. Thanks to all, you folks are awesome!
Good luck to all the participants. There are some amazing art comming and I`m very looking forward to see all the finals.
This turned out great! The spec could probably use some work as I don't see a lot of breakup and the fur and hair don't really read as soft. I especially love the horns and where they penetrate the head though! Great job!
@slosh. Great feedback, thanks. Actually I was using a flow map and a stronger reflection for the hair and fur. But since it is kind of a stylized mix shapewise it turned out a bit strange. So I decided to tune it back a bit. I got to go back and tweak it a bit further for the Unreal 4 integration, maybe
Really awesome, the story was cool too. I feel the expression leaves more to be desired but it was crazy how you switched up ideas in the middle and pulled through, kudos really nice work, love the hair and fur bits.
@DAVIDCRUZ: Thank you, appreciate it! I know it was a bit crazy to switch beasts, but I wanted something new. The first idea was to generic in my opinion. @OLDSALTY: Cheers! @JOHNNY_WUU: your best friend has a beautiful wife
