Meshes overlaying each other afte retopology

Hi,

I did a high-poly model in zBrush and just finished the retopology of all its individual meshes using Topogun, however, after importing the objs into Modo I've noticed that my torso and arms mesh is overlaying the shirt/vest in some places. I can fix it by pulling / adjusting the polygons but was wondering why this is happeing. Any ideas?
