Hey everyone, I'm looking for people's stories, basically the struggles you faced in perfecting your skills.
just a little bit of background on my current sitch. I come from a 3D modelling background, graduating from a 3D game art degree in 2014. Due to some circumstances I faced at the time I didn't put everything in to the craft that I should have done.
Fast forward to now and I'm working a full time job in a contact centre for a bank which I'm typically not all that enthusiastic about and I've recently decided to focus my efforts in to my passion again and really improve my skills to the point where I can hopefully do what I love as a living.
So I'm now working eight hour shifts and then spending my nights refreshing myself on 3DS max well in to the wee hours but I'm happy about it, happy about it, but tired.
Has anyone else developed their skills from the ground up while working full time? Tell me your stories! Reinforce my ambitions or bring me crashing down to reality! Either or! But yeah I hope to hear everyone's perspectives! Thanks guys!
