Hey folks, a couple weeks ago I was browsing for inspiring hard surface objects to model and stumbled across these beautiful ring guns and I fell in love with them.
So I took a crack at making my own inspired by the few designs I could find online. I started in blender for modelling, Zbrush for detail work, and Substance Painter for texturing. Here are some shots out of Unreal Engine:
It's sitting at about: Tris: 22,022 Polys: 21,819
Had a lot of fun on this one, now it's time to polish it up for the folio. I'll get the map breakdowns and a sketchfab on here soon.
I thought this came out very well. I like the unique choice of subject matter and the material definition seems to communicate as much as it can for the size of the piece. Good job!

Also here's the textures, I've left out ambient occlusion and alpha, not so interesting.
