So how do we avoid this kind of situation, it just happened to me and I simply added some links in my comments. Oh... the links might be the problem, but that's fine I'll just repost it without links.

Spam filter is not controlled by us in any way, other than turning it on. 

Its inner machinations are opaque for a reason. Don't want spammers learning how to avoid it, do we?

It does catch a ton of crap though, so it's worth the occasional hassle. 

If you're caught in the web, don't worry, once we clear you you're cleared for life. No more canned ham for you.
