I tested a bit this awesomeness of yours. There are some issues (Maya 2016.5): - Car paint feature maybe broken. Just black spots. - The Refl Blur slider works inversely. - Color management issues Cheers, D
I'm currently trying to create a character shader than approximates the UE4 layered material shader in shaderfx. Currently whenever I need to update the graph maya hangs for a real chunk of time, but whenever I'm editing my exposed paramters or moving around the viewport the performance is really good. Have you had any issues with this given the size of your ubershader graph I thought it might be someting you had encountered? It might well be a quirk of 2016.5
What, Kees said, just disable auto-updates and do a manual compute to see the changes. Everything you do on the graph triggers a recompile. At first its ok, but as the shader grows the compile will take longer. Exposed parameteres are fast because the shader is already compiled.
Amazing shader, Im really keen to try this out at work! but Im also having alot of trouble downloading it from ge.tt None of the dload buttons seem to do anything on chrome, firefox, or internet explorer. Was there an alternate dload link available?

I've made some adjustments to it, will post it soon, hope most of it is fixed!
