I was prompted to revisit an old character design from years ago
Did a fun little fanart piece for the team working on "Prey for the gods"
@tsmith3d your studies are beautiful
@Daven I love this fan art, Alphys looks so adorable and dorky there.
I ended up re painting a older design of my Toad Mother character. It started with wanting to design some new clothes for her (which I'm still working on) but as it was going so well I thought why not update her whole character sheet.

I've made a lot of false starts with this character, but I think this iteration is finally starting to nail things down. Puckette the Faun.
@Dado Almeida I use to have Altered Beast for the Sega Genesis. That's awesome. I'd love to see a 2.5D or updated remake of that.
This is my most recent entry for the Character Design Challenge. This month theme is 'aviator', so I've decided to create a design merging some classic and futuristic features.
grain department
I'm pretty stoked on this new one!
@Daven Your fish lady is rad.
@N_Heyman I'm not sure why he's got a pidgeon head but I love it.
Some character concepts I'm noodling around with for a mock game idea. Split into three potential path choices.
fan art of Samus and Sheik for my entry in the SSB community calendar! so excited to see how the calendar turns out <33
What was this:
Uploaded images must be 1000 pixels or less (wide and/or tall)
Has been changed to this:
Uploaded images must not exceed 1000 pixels in any dimension
Some people thought it meant only one dimension had to be 1000.
If you upload an image to Polycount it has to be under 1000x1000 resolution so it will create an acceptable file size. The uploaded image is re-compressed by our server for security purposes, to scrub metadata, get rid of weird headers, etc. 1000x1000 JPGs end up around 500kb which is an acceptable size for a shared thread.
If you have any feedback on this, don't reply here. Please head over to the WAYWO Usage thread. Thank you!
Long time fiddling around with this one, time to get it over with, drop it and move on to some more of this kind.
Here's a schematic I have been fiddling with.

Really big image-size though, so had to zoom out to 60% to see the whole image at once.
Looking at the whole image, she does seem (to me at least) to be somewhat floating/feet not properly planted on the ground.
Anyways, keep up the good work

Nemesisters. :3c
This is my first time posting here, but thought I'd go ahead and share this. Did it today in class (yes, I know the image-quality is shitty, but I think you get the gist of it). It's done in pastel at 2 x 45 min. sessions from live model.
C&C would really be appreciated
-Cheers, Nicky
Nice idea and render, Lyno. Some of the shapes could have been a tiny bit more defined though, the boat in particular is slightly too blurred on the edges imo.
Great work everyone!! Feels like you are all progressing like crazy!
Trying to do something epic in scale. I also started a sketch thread in case anyone's interested:

Just finished this piece hope you enjoy
Some update, this was a half way to black study, turned into a color WIP, liked it enough to submit
